Microsoft Word has an advanced search feature that allows you to search for text in a specific format.
In this tutorial, we will learn to use Microsoft Word to search for text in bold format.
Search Bold Text in Microsoft Word
- Open the document you edited in Microsoft Word.
- On the “Home” tab and in the “Editing” section, click on the “Advanced Find” button. You can use the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + F).
- In the “Find and Replace” dialog box, click the “Format” button. In the options that appear, select “Fonts“.
- Next in the “Find Font” dialog box, select the “Bold” Font Style. Then click the OK button.
- If you want to find a specific text in Bold format, you can type the keyword in ‘Find what:. Or if you want to search all the text in Bold format, leave it blank.
- Click the “Find Next” button to start the search.
